![]() The BA in Visual & Performing Arts Studies is only available to current USC students. How do I apply to the BA in Visual & Performing Arts Studies? Applicants interested in pursuing an emphasis should apply to the BA in Theatre (link to ) and once admitted, work with their academic advisor to transition into the emphasis. The emphasis tracks in acting, comedy or design are available only to current USC students. How do I apply to one of the emphasis programs? If you have listed one of our BFA programs and BA in Theatre as your major choice options, you only need to submit the Slideroom application for the BFA program. Students may not submit an application to both the BFA in Acting for Stage and Screen and the BFA in Musical Theatre. Students interested in our BFA in Acting for Stage and Screen and BFA in Musical Theatre must decide which program they would like to be considered for. Please only submit one supplemental application per student. Students will be considered for their first-choice selection in the initial review followed by their second choice, if they are not admitted to their primary major. Students may apply for up to two degree programs at USC. The rest of our class will consist of students from our BA in Theatre program. Our production programs range from 3-10 students for each program. The final BA in Theatre deadline for first year applicants is January 15, 2023. The BA in Theatre priority deadline and the final deadline for all BFA programs (for first year and transfer applicants) is December 1, 2022.
